Congrats Cross Country!!! Both boys and girls teams advance to sectionals!! Boys finished 3rd and girls 5th today in regionals.

Dear NBE Families,
I am honored to have been given this opportunity to guide the NBE family through this transitional period. My primary goal is for there to be no effect on the instruction of the students of this excellent school. I am confident our teachers and staff members will continue to support our students and continue to provide them the best possible education.
Over the coming days and weeks, I will continue to keep you aware of any news during this leadership transition. There will be opportunities for collaboration as I continue to learn and take the necessary steps to lead this school.
Already, the support of the teachers and staff has been wonderful. Rest assured there are amazing teachers, paraprofessionals, and staff working together to support our students.
In order for this transition to be successful, it will take the entire NBE community’s willingness to heal, and continue to provide the best education for our students.

Ms. Wainman's class had fun in math and participated in the Great Shakeout Drill (earthquake).
On Monday, four members of the NB band auditioned for ILMEA District band. All four made it and will be representing NB at the District 4 Festival in November! They are now, officially some of the best musicians in the western part of the state! Congrats! #yayband

The HoCo Dance is this Sat, Oct.12th at NBEL. Coronation will start promptly at 8, and the dance will end at 11. Cost: $5/person at the door.
