Birthday Book Club Kids
These students and their families have donated a new book to the elementary library collection in honor of their birthdays. A special book plate has been placed inside each book to recognize their generosity.

The Pretzel Angel Tree serves the Community Unit School District #16 children & families, who are currently active students in the district. Each child remains anonymous and is given a letter & number to be put on the tree, located in the vestibule of the New Berlin Elementary School. Tags are taken, shopped for, wrapped and returned to the Elementary Office by Friday, December 6, 2024. The Angel Tree Committee provides coats, shoes & underwear to each child. Local churches donate personal items and food boxes for each family. We are very grateful and appreciative of all of the support we receive from the community.
Lifetouch is coming for Fall Retake Day to NBE, Tuesday October 22.

STRIDE- Boys on the Run presented today to boys in 3rd through 5th grades about the program which will start here at New Berlin next week!
STRIDE will meet on Mondays and Thursdays from 3:45pn to 5:15pm.
Through fun games, activities, discussion, and running, STRIDE teaches boys about being a good young man of character while preparing them to run a 5k. At the end of the 10-week season, STRIDE combines with Girls on the Run at Lincoln Land Community College for a 5k celebration!
