Hi folks, Kids, parents, and staff......enjoy your well earned summer break. I hope you all get to spend the summer with loved ones, and get to do the things you love. I had so much fun this year.  Even during the challenging times, the smile never came off of my face. I just couldn't be grumpy :).  I had no reason to be! Sure, we ran into some situations......and we always will. But I'll take our problems over other districts' problems every day of the week. I'll take our staff over other districts' staff every day of the week. I'll take our test scores over other districts' test scores everyday of the week (we really did knock it out of the park this year:). I'll take our budget over other districts' budgets every day of the week. I'll take our parents over other districts' parents every day of the week. And......I'm not trading our kids.  Period.  Hard no. They are literally the best. Being a Pretzel isn't just about being lucky, either. Being excellent didn't just land in our laps. We didn't luck into having all these great things, and all these great kids. Our community, our staff, and our kids work hard to be what we are.  Furthermore, the foundation was laid many, many years ago. In that sense......yes, we are lucky. We are lucky to bear the responsibility of keeping the traditions of the town of New Berlin. In New Berlin we work hard, we don't make excuses, and we don't stop until we reach excellence. Thank you for showing me how it's done in New Berlin. My first year as a Pretzel Principal was extremely rewarding. I look forward to many more blessed years here with you all. Elementary Student Council celebrated their year of work and service!

Our staff gathered on the playground for an end of the year photo in our New Berlin gear! 24-25 has been a wonderful year!

Well......the little surprise storm washed away much of our surprise sidewalk chalk designs. Booooo! ;). We did them for the kids after school today. So share these pictures tonight with the kids!! The teachers had so much fun making the designs. They really love their students!!

Audrey Robinson was recognized by the Illinois Principal's Association this morning at a special breakfast at the University of Illinois-Springfield.

2,3,4,5 grades. Girls. Basketball Camp. June 23-26. 6-7:30pm. See attached information/ print / sign sheet / include shirt size / bring payment and sheet to NBE office. We will get it to coach. Please return by May 27th.

4th Grade set up their Wax Museum presentations for the other grade levels this morning. Classes walked through and asked the historical figures questions. Costumes and presentations were phenomenal!
